Merry Christmas from the Brodericks

A visit from Mendy and Madilynn

My First BYU football game!

The Broderick's came down to San Diego for the last game of the season. Grandpa bought me my first jersey too. It was a little big, but with my big coat underneath I looked like I could be on the field playing. Aunt Chelsea sure loves kissing and hugging me.
Don't I look great!

We are winning. Just the way Grandpa likes it.
Bring the win.

Jaxson loves loves loves being out side with Grandpa. I'm starting to think that he enjoys being with Grandpa Ellis more than mom and dad. I tell myself it's because Grandpa takes him out side whenever he grabs his hat even if it is dark and cold outside.
Tyson caught the perfect moment to describe how Jaxson feels when he is outside.
He also loves to do what Grandpa does. Grandpa spends hours and hours out at the pool. Where most people have a pool service not Bob Ellis, he does it himself. He sweeps the deck often and Jaxson sees him doing that, so he'll grab the broom and try to help. Whatever Grandpa does Jaxson does too. It's very cute and it tickles Grandpa.

Jax at the Zoo

Jax went to the zoo over Thanksgiving time with his cousins for the first time. He was enjoying it in his stroller, but once he got out there was no turning back. He could see the animals so much better when he was up over the gate. He liked the chimpanzees the very best. He watched them swing from tree to tree and was so pleased with their movement.
Cousin Jason was nice enough to carry me on his shoulders. He got to the point where he was almost falling asleep using his head as a pillow. Good times!
The lions were so beautiful sitting in the sun.

It's Twins for the Broderick's

Yes it is true we will be having twins next year (2008). Their due date is June 6, 2008, but most likely they will come in May. That is what we are hoping for. We wont find out until after the first of the year whether they are boys girls or one of each. They are fraternal which means they each have their own sac and placenta and this is very good.

We are very excited and even more scared. Our lives will be turned upside down for a good 6 months after they are born, so if you need a baby fix please come and visit. We wanted to share this very exciting news with all of you and would love to hear your reactions, so please email or make comments on the blog.

Halloween Trunk or Treat Party

You lookn' at me. I'll spray ya. Don't get to close.
Yes mom dressed me as a skunk. Can you believe it. She goes as a cowgirl and I go as a stinky animal. I guess she does call me stinky butt when I have dirty diapers, so I guess it applies.
Dad as hill billy, a role that fit a little to perfect. He liked it because he didn't have to shave for multiple days. Jaxson was a little scared of daddy.
Taryn, Christopher as a lion, Jaxson, and Mom.

The Riley Farm

Some friends from Church are related to the Riley's who have a very large farm which includes a pumpkin patch along with apple orchards and more. Last year the Riley's, Hartman's, and us went. We had so much fun, we decided that we need to do this every year. This year we had two more families join us, the Bartlett's and the Rambow's. It was even more fun this year because our babies were older and they could enjoy much more.
Trying to find the perfect pumpkin. Doesn't Jaxson look so comfortable? Poor guy.
I love my little pumpkin. Right before we paid for it he dropped it and it split open. He was very sad. He held on to it very tight the whole time.
Christopher loves Jaxson. We sure miss living right next to the Hartman's. The boys would just walk over to each others house. Now the walk is just a little further.
Jack, Jaden, Jaxson, Christopher, and Riley. Cameron Riley didn't want to sit for the picture.

Down on the Farm

When I was a little girl, on Sunday's my family would go to the Piggies
and Cows. This was something I always looked forward to.
I've been waiting to take Jaxson until he was a little older, and he sure did enjoy himself.
He was a little scared of the cows, but the baby pigs, sheep, and lamps
were his favorite part.

Nice little lamb. He was loving them.

The piggies were very smelly, but he was willing to get nice and close anyway.

Cancun Mexico

We went with Tyson's family this summer to Cancun Mexico. We had a fabulous time. We enjoyed the people, the food, and the culture. We did miss a hurrican by one or two days which we were grateful for.

We went to Cozumel for the day and rented Jeeps. It was a lot of fun and Jaxson even was able to see on my lap (since the seat belts didn't even work I felt he was safer in my arms).

Jaxson feel asleep on my lap then I moved him to the chair. Grandma thought it looked comfortable and joined him.

Still in Cozumel.

.

Here we are at Chichen Itza. It was a long day away from Jaxson, as he was back at the hotel with Grandma, Chelsea, and Tyler

Little Squirt

We got this hat for Jax on our latest trip to Disneyland. It's still a little big as you can see, but it is just so cute. "Don't worry mom the food on my sleeve will come out."

Water time

Mommy and Daddy take Jaxson to the pool for the first time. Because Jaxson has my coloring we spent more time preparing to go out there then we spent at the pool.
Just chillen pool side

Jaxson's First Christmas

Tyson once again being over dramatic. But on the inside he was really that excited about the fruit snacks. This year they lasted a who three weeks. I was so proud.
Jaxson was so worn out from the celebration that he just passed out.
So peaceful!!!
Man we sure look great. HaHaHa

Jaxson's First Christmas

Tyson made breakfast for us on Christmas

Pancakes; however he could remember
how to make them
so he had to call home!!!
