Merry Christmas from the Brodericks

A visit from Mendy and Madilynn

My First BYU football game!

The Broderick's came down to San Diego for the last game of the season. Grandpa bought me my first jersey too. It was a little big, but with my big coat underneath I looked like I could be on the field playing. Aunt Chelsea sure loves kissing and hugging me.
Don't I look great!

We are winning. Just the way Grandpa likes it.
Bring the win.

Jaxson loves loves loves being out side with Grandpa. I'm starting to think that he enjoys being with Grandpa Ellis more than mom and dad. I tell myself it's because Grandpa takes him out side whenever he grabs his hat even if it is dark and cold outside.
Tyson caught the perfect moment to describe how Jaxson feels when he is outside.
He also loves to do what Grandpa does. Grandpa spends hours and hours out at the pool. Where most people have a pool service not Bob Ellis, he does it himself. He sweeps the deck often and Jaxson sees him doing that, so he'll grab the broom and try to help. Whatever Grandpa does Jaxson does too. It's very cute and it tickles Grandpa.

Jax at the Zoo

Jax went to the zoo over Thanksgiving time with his cousins for the first time. He was enjoying it in his stroller, but once he got out there was no turning back. He could see the animals so much better when he was up over the gate. He liked the chimpanzees the very best. He watched them swing from tree to tree and was so pleased with their movement.
Cousin Jason was nice enough to carry me on his shoulders. He got to the point where he was almost falling asleep using his head as a pillow. Good times!
The lions were so beautiful sitting in the sun.

It's Twins for the Broderick's

Yes it is true we will be having twins next year (2008). Their due date is June 6, 2008, but most likely they will come in May. That is what we are hoping for. We wont find out until after the first of the year whether they are boys girls or one of each. They are fraternal which means they each have their own sac and placenta and this is very good.

We are very excited and even more scared. Our lives will be turned upside down for a good 6 months after they are born, so if you need a baby fix please come and visit. We wanted to share this very exciting news with all of you and would love to hear your reactions, so please email or make comments on the blog.
