Back Yard

Tyson's family has been asking to see pictures of the yard so here they are. It looks really great. However, no one told me I'd have to wait 2 weeks before the kids could play on it. So we will be doing a lot of outings.
We still will be putting in flowers tomorrow, but for the most part we are done and just in time. About 2 weeks ago we got a notice form the HOA that we had 25 days to put grass in or we'd be fined. HOA's are good and bad I guess. They make sure everyone takes care of their yards and all, but when you get the notice it's a little annoying. We took before pictures of the backyard; however, we are not able to find them. If you didn't see the yard before, the improvement may not be as drastic for those who did see it.

This is one of the five large rock piles that was created as the landscaping began. I love Upland rocks.

Jaxson really wanted to help with the cement. I was convinced that Tyson and his dad could put in the cement, but after watching how much work it was, it was worth every penny. The first day the kids could go on it they had a blast. They were riding their bikes and running around. It was a great investment for mommy's sake.
The kids were captivated with the truck.

Family Reunion Synder Family

For the last 10 years my Uncle Larry has gone down to San Diego for the week. It has now become a little family reunion. We've had a lot of fun there over the years. I didn't get any pictures of Jaxson fishing with Danny (some random 20 something who let Jaxson be his little side kick for the day), but it was the cutest thing. Jaxson would call after him saying "Danny here I come." Jaxson was touching the fish and looking down the mouth of the big mouth bass. I was shocked how much he liked it. I told Tyson he's going to have to take him since he enjoyed it some much.
Great Grandma Flint. She looks pretty good for 90.
Jaxson is showing G.G. (that is what she calls herself) his boobo.

Grandpa Ellis was the spinner for the day.

Not a great picture of my mom, but it is a four generation picture. Addi got a few good pictures.

Beach Trip with the Cousins.

Carson is my sports boy. He loves balls, bats, etc. He climbed right up like a littler surfer boy. He was so pleased with him self.

Addi loves climbing up into chairs and just dangling her legs over the chair.

On our last night in Utah I went out to dinner with my older brother Jeff and his family. They just had twins too. My mother in law was gracious enough to stay home with my three kids so I could enjoy a nice dinner out. We went to one of my favorites, PF Changs. It was fantastic. Since I know all to well what it is like to eat with small twins I took Micheal who had not slept for over 6 hours. He feel asleep in my arms at dinner. Diana seemed grateful, yet at the same time bad for me since I usually eat dinner with a child in my arms and that night I didn't have to.
We went back to the Broderick's after dinner and let the kids run around. Micheal remained in the car asleep, with doors open of course. Diana was not about to wake him up for a photo. Thus there is only one baby in the photo below. Jaxson loved playing with Hannah. It was fun watching him play with his cousins.

Elizabeth nearly 3 months old. They were still so small.

Addison's new thing is climbing on chairs. She just loves swinging her legs and feeling victorious after climbing into the chair.
The eye just kept getting better as the week went by. Tyson just kept telling me to take pictures. If you look closely Carson is a little wet. He kept playing in the gutter water. I didn't really care since he was going to have a bath that night any how; however, when he started to drink that water I had to put a stop to that. I really wanted to catch him doing it, but I was to slow.

A Day at the Zoo.

Jaxson was a little scared of this elephant because it made a loud noise when you touched it. I wanted a picture with all three kids, but it was hard enough getting Jaxson to sit on it.

When we went over to the bears, we saw one playing with a box. He was moving it around and then he tried to sit in it. He got in, but obviously didn't fit. I reminded me of the twins they climb into all sorts of boxes, baskets, etc. It was really cute seeing this big bear climb into this wee little box.

While in Utah we also went to the Zoo. It is no wonder that when we got home from Utah Jaxson thought we needed to go and do something everyday. We bought a Zoo pass too, so if anyone has one let me know and we can go to the LA Zoo together. It's much cheaper than Disneyland passes. Jaxson loved it. It was hot, but fun.

Feeding the Ducks

Look at Carson's shiner.
We went and feed the ducks at BYU. This is one of Jaxson's favorite things to do when we visit Grandma Broderick. We went with cousin Zack.

Swimming at some water park in Utah

While in Utah we went out to dinner with Tyson's cousin and her family and his brother Casey, and his family. We went to an El Salvadorian restaurant in down town Provo. It was a little whole in the wall place, but very busy. Tyson's cousin Marina has a son the age of Jaxson and was drinking orchata. Well Jaxson thought he wanted some and knowing he would not like it I let him take a drink. He started getting really fussy and I thought it was because he was bored and hungry. He started really getting fussy, so I left with him to go to Mc Donald's. By the time we left Mc Donald's I knew that he was having an allergic reaction.
We went back to pick up Tyson and while pulling out of the parking space Jaxson started to cough which is a warning of what is to come. Vomit. We used the box from his happy meal to catch the vomit. We gave him what meds we had and put him to bed. By the next morning it was a full blown asthma attack.
Since he hasn't had an attack for over 6 months not thinking I didn't bring any of his asthma meds, so off to the hospital we went. He was acting so energetic I'm sure the doctors thought we gave him something funny. He would thank the doctor after he listened to his chest. He would tell everyone about his owee and how he got it.
Grandma Broderick showed up and he told me I could go home. The twins didn't sleep well the night before so I went home to sleep thinking we'd be there for at least 2-3 more hours. Jaxson was home with in an hour of me getting home. I guess the hospitals in Utah are fast than here at home.

Tyson really wanted to take the kids down the big water slide, I think he thinks they will like it. Going down a dark wet tunnel out of control sounds like a lot of fun to me.

While in Utah Carson and Addison decided that they too wanted to walk down the stairs. This is usually not a good idea. Carson took a nasty fall and hit the hard wood floor. It turned into a black eye. Thank goodness he did it the night after family pictures.

However, Jaxson has this stand by conversation for anyone who will listen. It goes something like this. "Hi." He'll hold up his hand to show his owee and say, "I have an owee. I stuck my finger in the fan. Brother has a black eye, he fell down." He tells this to everyone and thankfully people only catch a few words so it doesn't sound like I neglect my children and report me to Child Protective Agency.

Boating at Utah Lake.

Look at that stud. He has not skied for years and he got right up. He did have a hard fall though.

Chelsea and Colby's Wedding

It was a beautiful, but hot day. I thought Chelsea would melt in her dress. She is such a Broderick. Her dress was gorgeous and she designed it herself. I so happy for them, they looked very happy. The sealer was wonderful. I hope they remember about Chelsea making fresh apple pie and having it ready for Colby when he gets home from Church meetings. I will wait for that day too Chels.

Jaxson was getting jealous, he wanted a kiss too.

Aunt Cindy did all the flowers. I did too, but I just was the gopher girl.
I wasn't sure Addison would come home with us, since Chelsea wouldn't be staying with us that night. She loves her Aunt Chels.

Can you believe this is Grandma. She looks great.
As I said Carson not only learned to walk, but he runs. He is quite fast too.

Jaxson for some odd reason kept hiding in between my legs.
