Our Baby Drama

If we ever said that we had a lot of baby drama, we had no clue what we were talking about. Since the twins have become mobile, it seems the drama has escalated. I don't have enough time in the day to blog about every little thing they do. But this morning, Tyson was finally at home to catch Addi in the act.

It was about 7:30 and I decided to get up and take a shower, which I never get to do in the morning. Addi and Carson were talking in their room so Tyson got up to play with them. Suddenly, Tyson came into the bathroom and handed Addi to me. Tyson told me that he walked into the bedroom and thought he saw boogers on her face. When he got closer he realized it was something different. Much different. She had poop smeared on her face. She had pooped through her diaper and it had leaked all over the crib sheets. She had rolled around in it much of the morning. After Tyson took the picture, he went back in and saw that there was poop all over the crib, sheets, bumper pads, and blankets. She had poop every where in the bed and all over her. Unfortunately, our camera ran out of batteries so we only got one picture of it. Just another normal day in our life.

Bed Time

My favorite time of the day is bed time. I love it. By 8:00 PM all three children are in bed. I finally have time to sit and not worry about what to do next. I choose to do nothing whenever possible. Don't they look cute?

FHE

We have added a new activity to our Family Home Evening. The kids had such a wonderful time.

So So Proud

Well today marks a very special day in potty training. Jaxson is going and doing all he needs to do, if you get my drift. We went to the park and to dinner tonight and no accidents. What more can I say except I'm so proud of my not so little boy.

Potty Training

We've started potty training with Jaxson and I've been pleasantly surprised how well he has done. It is day two and he gets very excited when he goes in the potty. Tyson and Jaxson went to Target early yesterday morning bought a book and a potty. We went cold turkey and put his underwear on without going back (except for naps and night time). We had a hard time after nap time to get him to use the potty, but once he did it the first time we were good.
Today when he feels he needs to go he yells "mommy hurry!" We rush to the bathroom and presto pee pee. Who says potty training is difficult? LOL!

Happy Easter

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Holiday. Among the Easter Egg hunts, bunnies, and candy we hope you remembered the Savior. Easter is such a very special time of the year. It's a time to celebrate the love of our older Brother and the sacrifice He made for us. We tried teaching Jaxson about Jesus and what He did for us, but he just couldn't stay focused long enough. I guess we will just continue to teach and lead by example.
The babies loved the empty eggs to chew on.

Jaxson just wanted the candy. He would take away the eggs from the twins in hopes to find candy.

I LOVE this picture. I'm the worst at catching these moments, but some how I finally got a good one.
Jaxson is not eating grass, he dropped candy so he's digging it out.

Wednesday morning the call came in that the bank accepted our offer. We were so excited. Our realtor was telling us that we wait and wait to hear from the bank and then they expect us to jump through all the hoops. He was right. We were told we had to sign papers that day and the papers had to be back in the office by 5 PM or the deal was off. Thank goodness Tyson had the day off.

Then today the good fairies visited our house and painted the whole house and put in new carpet. We had the physical inspection and that was when I noticed that everything was different. I was shocked. We suspect that the bank changed it out to try to get other bids. I guess it didn't work, but now we don't have to do it. We just saved thousands of dollars. We are being so so blessed.

Pretty in Pink

Now some husbands would be very angry to see their toddler son in a pink Piglet costume, but not mine. It was mommy and me day and the color was pink. We've been having non gender colors for the last few months and it was the girls turn. Well I don't have anything pink for Jaxson, so I was going to dress him in red. The twins costumes were hanging in the closet when Tyson saw them hanging there and suggested he wear Piglet. It was to small as you can see, but it was way to cute to pass up.

Crystal Light + 3 Kids =

Last night I was making tacos for Taco Tuesday when my night turned very colorful. I started dinner early trying to get everyone feed before 6:30 when I started to taste grape. I knew the taste well as we make crystal light often. I thought it was strange, but didn't think much of it since we had been making it a lot since the weather warmed up. Anyways, Jaxson and the twins were playing on the stairs and I asked my dad to go get them. As I started flipping my first tortilla I heard, "What are you doing get down from there." I ran in to see what was happening. My dad had Carson, so I grabbed Addison. As I picked her up, I saw her face was black and then I knew what happened. Jaxson got into the crystal light and dumped it all over the carpet, tile and the twins heads.
My dad took Carson into the Kitchen sink and started to clean him up when I realized how much Addi had on her. So to the bath we went. Dinner got delayed and we had a colorful bath. Good times. I don't recommend this to other mothers. At least with a couple washes it came out.

Addi gone Goth.

The rest of the night Addi had black boogers.

Over a month

I can't believe it has been over a month since I updated the blog. We've been pretty busy. We've been looking for a house and have found one that we really like. The bid has been in for almost a week. I hope to hear something to day. (It is very hard to blog with nearly 11 month old twins hanging on you.)
As I just said the twins will be 11 months at the end of the week. I can't believe how fast time flies. They pull them selves up on everything. Carson has found his balance and can stand on his own for a few seconds. Well they are crying so I have to blog on later.
